Hi, I’m Nicole – owner of Urban Artisan!
California born, Oregon raised. Former educator turned creative entrepreneur.
What began in 2013 as BEAN, a small sign shop and personal creative outlet, quickly evolved into something bigger. What started as a few home décor pieces made in my garage for family and friends turned into a full-time business with an online storefront and a dream of something more.
Fast forward to today — Urban Artisan is the next chapter in that dream: a hands-on creative studio that brings people together through unique workshops, meaningful experiences, and community connection.
At Urban Artisan, we specialize in:
- Hands-on creative workshops for the public
- Business and corporate team bonding events
- Training and consultation for fellow studio owners ready to grow their business
- Custom laser-engraved merchandise designed with purpose and personality
As a lifelong teacher and artist, merging creativity and education is the heart of everything I do. Whether you're here to create, collaborate, or connect, this space is built to welcome you — just as you are.
When I’m not covered in paint or planning the next big idea, I’m spending time with my incredible husband (and co-owner), our two amazing kids, and our sweet fur babies.
