INSTRUCTOR / ASSISTANT

We are looking for a part time creative instructor/assistant. Studio instructors are expected to facilitate specialized workshops (no experience needed, we get you up to speed)! Must have an outgoing personality, be comfortable presenting in front of groups, a positive attitude and the ability to work quickly (independently and as part of a team).

URBAN ARTISAN: INSTRUCTOR / ASSISTANT

POSITION OPEN UNTIL FILLED

HOURS: Part time, includes evenings and weekends  (flexible schedule)

Studio Instructor / Assistant duties include, but not limited to:

• Keep studio clean and organized
• Operate studio equipment (vinyl cutter/software, copy/fax, projector, microphone, etc.)
• Prep workshop materials
• Assist guests to ensure smooth workshop flow (maintain a schedule of events/follow standard operating procedures). Monitor workshop events, and/or facilitate workshops
• Guest satisfaction (attracting clients relies largely on the appeal of a strong reputation and word-of-mouth referrals, keeping track of customers’ needs is crucial to generating new business)
• Respond to customer inquiries (questions, quotes and scheduling)

Job Requirements:

• 18+ (this position requires an OLCC server permit)
• OLCC and Food handlers permit
• Evening and weekend shift availability 

Interpersonal Skills

Because the work involves juggling schedules and dealing with last minute changes and unexpected complications, it is vital for the studio staff to be flexible and cool-heated; have excellent problem solving skills; and be organized and detail-oriented. 

Probationary period to be implemented through the first 90 -120 days.
